12/01/66: Sold to John Mecom. Ford engined.
Gearbox No: LG500-44.
Driven by Parnelli Jones. Fitted with a Paxton supercharged 4.7 Ford, giving approximately 470 bhp. George Bignotti, Jones' race engineer, later replaced the Ford engine with a Chevrolet unit giving 470 bhp. According to “Motor Sport” a big-block unit was later on fitted.
In 1990 it was sold to Yvan Mahe of France, who acquired it burnt out to the rear bulkhead. He had a new tub built up by Maurice Gomm and then rebuilt the car.
In 1992 the car was sold in Europe.
