Not a lot known about SL71/25, but this T70 was probably driven by George Follmer in 1966.

The car was then apparently crashed and stored till 1980.
1981: Sold to Simon Hadfield in England who had a new tub built by Maurice Gomm/Arnie Johnson at Silverstone. Sold on since to France.

Ford 427 cubic inch engine.
Gearbox No: LG500-61.
SL71/26 was sold to John Mecom, who installed a Ford 427 “big block” engine and had Al Unser drive it for him, without success in 1966.
In 1976, it was sold to a New York collector who had the car completely rebuilt by Crosthwaite and Gardner in England with a Corvette 327 cubic inch engine on carburetors installed. Painted yellow.
In 1996, it was sold to new owner who took part in the 30th anniversary of the Can Am at Elkhart Lake that year. Afterwards, it was sold to an owner/collector in Florida, USA.
1966: Raced by Al Unser.
1998: Sold through Grand Prix Classics of San Diego to present owner.
