The engine in this 911S was built by Ecurie Engineering. Mark Escukie has a number of special preparation aspects that he imparts to his engines. It has performed very competitively. While there was no problem with it at all, the engine was just reworked and freshened by Ecurie over the winter (see photos).

As you can also see from the photos, the car is very thoroughly race prepared with a "Fuel Safe" fuel cell, shock tower brace in the front compartment, front mounted oil tank, front windshield and rear screen security clips, hood pins, rollcage, race seat, MOMO steering wheel, quickly detachable front bumper and 911R rear lights.
All maintenance and race preparation have been done by Doug Radix personally for the last 5 years. |
