In 1995, Art Pilla ordered a new 964 bodyshell and parts from Porsche Motorsport, Weissach, Germany and had the car built up by his crew as a GT2. The following year, he had it converted to twin turbo specification and, in this form, carried on racing it until 2000.

As can be seen from the race history, the car competed in the big long-distance races in America the Daytona 24 Hours (3 times) and the Sebring 12 Hours (6 times), plus Watkins Glen 6 Hours (twice) with distinction.
In 2004, Art sold the car to the present owner and he has made a magnificent job of removing the old bodywork, (which is kept in storage, should anyone wish to change the car back to its original specification) and has added the charismatic Porsche 935K3 bodywork that the car now wears. Additionally, the headers and turbos were changed to ones that allowed better gas flow and the engine now puts out a healthy 650 horsepower at just 1.1 Bar.
This is a very fast Porsche racer that can be used as either a 935 or, with the bodywork changeable in just one day, a GT2.
