It’s not often that we can advertise a record-breaking vehicle on these pages but today we can.

This beautiful vintage wooden hydroplane, powered by a supercharged “big block” Chrysler Hemi engine, has very recently been completely restored and is now for sale at just $145,000... think of it, for far less than the price of a REPLICA Ferrari 250GTO or a REPLICA Lightweight E Type Jaguar, you can have a GENUINE World record breaker.
The H1 Miss DeSoto has the most decorated list of race wins, high point championships and still holds the H class World Record of 151 mph, which will always stand as this class since evolved into what is now the current GP class. Buddy Byers has one of the most impressive driving records in inboard hydroplane racing and the Miss DeSoto was a big part of that history. She has been restored with complete accuracy and attention to details and is currently in top running condition. We are now looking for a new owner for the H1 Miss DeSoto so someone else can carry on racing this historical racing’s legend from the past into her future.
