This Jaguar was placed second in distance after completing 2,520.94 miles (4,057.05 kms) at an average speed of 105.04 mph (169.04 kph) and finished third in the index of performance. Early in the race minor problems - rectified by a change of spark plugs and a petrol filter - slowed down this car.
