The Peter Lindner Racing "Low Drag" Coupe. The Model shown here is as the car appeared at the 1964 Le Mans 24 Hour Race competing in the GT category being driven by Peter Lindner and Peter Nocker. this 1963 car was heavily modified over the winter of 1963/4 to include the Low Drag roof similar to Prothero's car #EC1001. Despite numerous improvements, and being works prepared for Le mans, this German-entered car was showing its age and its entry had not posed much of a threat to the GT class. From dawn the car was plagued by cooling problems and finally gave up the ghost with a blown gasket in the 16th hour. A few months later, poor Peter Lindner lost his life driving the same car in the 1000km de Paris at Montlhery.
